William Lanham Carlton, infant son of Tammy Brown Carlton and William 
Jefferson “Jeff” Carlton, of 410 Cantrell Road, Rockmart, passed away Tuesday, 
Feb. 24, 2004. Lanham was preceded in death by a grandmother, Sandra Brown. 
Survivors include: his parents, Tammy and Jeff Carlton of Rockmart; sister, 
Laney Carlton of Rockmart; two brothers, Logan and Tilman Carlton of Rockmart; 
grandparents, Rev. Jimmy and Billie Jean Brown of Aragon; Kenneth Carlton of 
Rockmart and Charles and Bonnie Kinney of Elberton; and great-grandparents, 
Lois Brown of Aragon, James and Bobbie Logan of Cedartown and Bill and 
Elizabeth Carlton of Rockmart. Graveside services were held Friday, Feb. 27, at 
11 a.m., in the family lot of Cornerstone Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy 
Brown officiating. Davis Carlton, uncle, and Tyler Brown, cousin, served as 
honorary pallbearers. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the
