Lizzie Mae Swift Causey, 83, of Newnan, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2003. She 
was born May 27, 1919, in Polk County. She was a homemaker and a member of 
Grantville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin 
Causey; daughter, Melba Jo Causey; son, Douglas M. Causey; and parents, Harry 
Lee and Ellen Garrett Swift. Survivors include a son, Larry S. Causey of 
Grantville; sister, Lillian S. Crumley of Aragon; six grandchildren, and 12 
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 27 at 4 p.m. 
from the chapel of Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Stan Rogersand Billy Swift 
officiating. Interment followed in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randall 
Portwood, Roy Lee Crumley, Matt Gaddy, Mitchell Bowen, Charles Brooks, Bryan 
Bowen, and Gerald Whitman. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the
