Jessie Helon Poss Chandler, 83, of 201 Poplar St., Ideal, passed away 
Wednesday, June 25, 2003. She was born June 12, 1920 in Aragon, to the late 
Mary Maranda Suddeth and the late General Jackson Poss. She was a member of New 
Prospect Baptist Church of Rockmart. Survivors include a sister in law, Mary 
Poss of Mableton; and other extended relatives. Funeral services were conducted 
Thursday, June 26, at 4 p.m. in the Freeman Harris Funeral Home. Interment 
followed in New Prospect Cemetery. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of
