Robert Lee (Bob) Whitehead, 117 John Phillips Road, Cedartown, died Sunday, 
December 23. Mr. Whitehead was born April 24, 1904 in Polk County. He was a 
member of the Second Baptist Church and a retired brick mason. Surviving are 
his wife, Mrs. Louise Whitehead, Cedartown; two daughters, Mrs. Catherine 
Massey, Newnan; Mrs. Lavonia Kellett, Rockmart; one sister, Mrs. Lucille 
Holland, Baltimore, Maryland; one brother, Waller Whitehead, Cedartown. Five 
granddaughters and five grandsons also survive. Funeral services were held 
Wednesday, December 26, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Larry Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Greenwood 
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial contributions be 
made to the Second Baptist Church. The Gammage Funeral Home had charge of
