(Cedartown Standard, Thursday, September 26, 1918) 
Dr. Roy Heaton, who recently came home from Construction, N. C., died Saturday 
from an overdose of some opiate. His father, Mr. B. F. Heaton came home and 
found him unconscious and he died before physicians could reach him. He is 
survived by his wife and little daughter. (Cedartown Standard, Thursday, 
September 26, 1918)
