Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 12, 2006, 11:13 am Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., November 25, 2002 Charles E. Hagan, 77 of 106 Samanda Cir., Rockmart, passed away Nov. 20, 2002. He was born Sept. 21, 1925 in Polk County. He was retired from J. L. Lester Wholesale Grocery, serving 44 years, a former member of the Rockmart Kiwanis Club, former owner and operator of Little Bear Food Store, and a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton P. and Mary Williams Hagan. Survivors include: wife, Ruth B. Hagan; sons, Chales and Richard Hagan; daughter, Leann H. Johnson; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Cleveland and Rev. Carlton Duke officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Christopher Hagan, Ryan Matthews, Steve Tinker, Larry Davis, Bryan Roper, Joey Rogers, and Don Callihan. Honorary pallbearers were Bobby Sorrells, Howard Thomas, Jim Ely, Jimmy Lester, Dewayne Whitaker, and Bill Weaver. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
