Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., December 30, 2002
Irene Bishop Hampton, 79, of Peachtree City, GA, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 
2002. Mrs. Hampton was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. Survivors 
include daughter, Debbie Hampton of Hutchinson, MN; son, Rev. Bill Hampton of 
Sharpsburg, GA; sister, Betty Bratton of Cleveland, OH; brother, Billy Bishop 
of Scotts Depot, W.VA; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mass for 
Mrs. Bishop was said Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Matthew Catholic 
Church in Atlanta. Rev. Victor Gallier officiated, and interment followed in 
Northview Cemetery on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002. Parrott Funeral Home was in 
charge of the arrangements. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home made this
