Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 13, 2006, 8:20 am The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, February 2004 Robert “Bob” Harvey Hardage, 69, of 503 Garmon Rd., Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2004 at his residence. He was born Jan. 16, 1935 and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown. He was retired from Mead Paper Company, as an industrial engineer in Dayton, Ohio. He was the past Master of the Caledonia Lodge #121 in Cedartown. He was a past Worthy Patron of the Eastern Star of Cedartown Chapter 213 and past president of the Cedartown Exchange Club. He taught Sunday School at the First Baptist Church of Cedartown and at Farr Hills Baptist Church in Dayton. He was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force as Airman 1st Class from 1954-1957. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zack Allen and Alma Thomas Hardage and five siblings. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Drummond Hardage of Cedartown; sons, Robert Wesley Hardage of Cedartown, Donald E. Hardage of Dallas, and William Allen Hardage of Cobb County; daughter, Debbie Hardage Pogue of Dayton; sister, Sara Cranford of Smyrna; 11 grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 24 at 1 p.m. from the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Taylor –and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment followed in Polk Memory Gardens.
