Mr. Russell C. Hawley, 45, 340 Airport Rd., Cedartown, died December 30, 2003. 
Mr. Hawley was born in West Branch, Michigan on August 6, 1958, a son of 
Russell William Hawley and Shirley Harmon Hawley. He had been a resident of 
Polk County since 1995, moving here from Michigan. He was of the Catholic 
faith. He was a former employee of the Department of Natural Resources. 
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Christie Lorraine Marbut Hawley, to whom he was 
married on March 19, 1984; daughter, Frances Hawley, Cedartown; step daughter, 
Sandra Swalley, Cedartown; mother, Mrs. Shirley Harmon Harpster, Harlington, 
TX; sister, Jeanie Lemon, Cheboygen, Michigan; brothers, Dennis Hawley, Richard 
Hawley and Jeff Hawley, all of Mio, Michigan; grandson, James Russell (J.R.) 
Swalley, Cedartown; The memorial service was conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday, 
January 3, 2004 in the Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Eddie 
Wyatt officiating. Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
