Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., July 07, 2003
Nell Harris Hays, 70, of 848 College Dr., Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, 
July 2, 2003. She was born Jan. 13, 1933 in Bacon County and was a member of 
First United Methodist Church where she served as secretary. Mrs. Hays was 
proceeded in death by her parents Jimps and Effie Boatwright Harris. Surviving 
are her husband Dr. Richard Hays of Cedartown; daughter, Beth Lindsay of Cary, 
N.C.; sisters Winnett Sessions of Ormond Beach, Fla. and Stella Dillingham of 
Alma, Ga. and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Sunday, 
July 6 at 2 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don 
Underwood officiating. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home had charge of the
