The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., February 27, 2003
John Wesley Hudgins, 70, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 
2003 at Castle Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1932 in Esom Hill, GA, and 
was an E-7 GYSGT, retired, with the U.S. Marine Corps. Survivors include his 
wife, Sumie Hudgins; sons, Dale Hudgins and Tommie Hudgins; daughters, Mary 
Kawakami and Kimmie Delorenzo; Hanai brother, Bertram Wong; brothers Author 
Hudgins and David Hudgins; sister, Shirley Hudgins; 9 grandchildren and many 
nephews and nieces. Graveside services were held Monday, February 24 at 1 p.m. 
at Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery. Bill Amigone/Williams Funeral Services of 
Kaneohe, HI, was in charge of the arrangements. This local announcement was 
made for the family by the Gammage Funeral Home. (The Cedartown Standard,
