Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 13, 2006, 8:49 am Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, March 13, 2003 Lois Jarrell, 88, of 225 Philpot St., Cedartown, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2003. She was born Feb. 9, 1915 in Polk County, and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: husband, Doyle Jarrell; parents, Wardon and Mary Wells Hughes; brothers, Jack, John, Jim, D. L., Robert, Wilson and Brewster Hughes; and sisters, Bernice Weaver and Alice McKibben. Survivors include: son, Hugh Jarrell of Cedartown; Betty Wray, Emory Hughes, and Patricia Rainey. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, March 11, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Litesey Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Pyles and Larry Odom officiating. Interment followed in the Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were J. W. Alexander, Bobby Alexander, Sonny Alexander, Larry Odom, Nicholas Wray, and Matthew Wray. Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
