Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., September 10, 2003
Johnnie Lee Jones, 79, of 104 Fifth St., Rockmart passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 
2003. She was born April 23, 1924 in Polk County to the late Winnie Belle Lee. 
She retired from the Goodyear Mill in Rockmart following 45 years of service. 
She was a member of the Goodyear Mill 25-Year Club and was of the Baptist 
faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Edward Jones Sr., and a 
son Horace Edward “Eddie” Jones Jr. She is survived by one grandchild. 
Graveside services were held Sunday, Sept. 7, 2003, at 3 p.m. in the family lot 
of Rose Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jim Reynolds officiating. Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown Standard, Cedartown,
