Kight, 87, of East Ave., North Augusta, SC passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2003. He was a native of Tattnall County, GA, having made Augusta his home for the past 46 years. He attended Fairview Presbyterian Church, was a Mason, and was the retired owner of the Richmond Barber Shop. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aline Denman Kight and his father, Kenneth A. Kight. Survivors include sons, William Duke Kight of Williston, SC, Rodney Kight and Ceil Kight of North Augusta; daughters, Melinda Carter of Augusta, Libby Rushing of Lincolnton, GA and Coni Bullington of St. Petersburg, FL; brother, Leon Kight of Virginia Beach, VA; 17 grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren. Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, April 25, at 2 p.m. from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home with Rev. Robert F. Fuller officiating and interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. The Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home of North Augusta was in charge of the arrangements.
