Drena Marie Lail, 63, of 150 Mann Road, Rockmart passed away Thursday, May 1, 
2003. A long-time resident of Rockmart and Polk County, she was born January 8, 
1940 in Orlando, FL. At the time of her death, she was in the Quality Control 
Department of Lason, Inc. in Marietta. She was preceded in death by her father, 
Marshall Dempsey Lail. Survivors include her husband, William Lockhart of 
Rockmart; her mother, Nellie Taylor Starnes of Cartersville; two daughters, 
Lanae Weaver of Okinawa, Japan and Darlena Gay Metzger of Rex, GA; sons, Leslie 
Parnell of Kennesaw, Kelly Parnell of Seattle, WA and William Lance Lockhart of 
Rockmart; sister, Marsha Hamilton of Kingston; brother, Dan Lail of Loganville; 
and seven grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 5 at 2 
p.m. in the sanctuary of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Bartow 
County with Rev. Stanley Hamilton officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. 
Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in
