Mrs. Bonnie G. Lee, 72, 809 Wilson St., Rockmart, died February 28, 2004. Mrs. 
Lee was born in Floyd County on April 26, 1932, a daughter of the late Albert 
C. Griffin and Lula Belle Bennett Griffin. She had been a resident of Rockmart 
for the past eight years. She was a homemaker and a member of New Freedom 
Fellowship Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by husband, Mr. Junior E. 
Lee; son, Mr. Gregory Chris Lee; two brothers; two sisters. Surviving are 
daughters, Mrs. Annette Brogdon, Covington, Mrs. Rita Mason, Rockmart and Mrs. 
Linda Cash, Rockmart; sons, Dale Lee, Auburn and Jerry Lee, Rockmart; adopted 
daughter, Mrs. Renee Bagley, Jonesboro; sisters, Mrs. France Caldwell, 
Nashville, TN and Mrs. Margaret Burkhalter, Rome; brothers, Robert Griffin and 
Neil Griffin, both of Rome; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. The 
funeral service was conducted at noon Tuesday, March 2, 2004 in the Alvis 
Miller & Son Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Steve Carroll and Rev. Clayton Boone 
officiating. Interment was held in the Lawnwood Memorial Park, Covington. 
Pallbearers were Ricky Berry, Tim Mason, Darrell Hammond, Greg Bowerman, Steve 
Phillips and Steve Bagley. The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home had charge of 
arrangements.
