The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., June 18, 2003
Ruth Victoria Perry Lee, 74, of Centre, Ala., formerly of Cedartown, passed 
away Friday, May 23, 2003. She was born June 27, 1928 in Columbus. She was 
preceded in death by her husband, Harley E. Lee Sr., parents Rev. and Mrs. 
Wiley B. Perry Sr. and sister Rachel Beasley Shiflett. Survivors include 
children, Jane Lee Curry and Harley E. Lee Jr.; sister, Rebecca Domit; brother, 
Rev. Wiley B. Perry Jr.; sister in law Cody Rogers; two grandchildren, and two 
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 25, at 4 p.m. 
from the chapel of the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. 
Wayne Benefield officiating. Interment followed in Northview Cemetery. 
Pallbearers were Steve Rogers, J.P. Curry, Boyis Baker, and Heipie Stevens. 
Honorary pallbearers were member of the Dorcas Sunday School class, ladies and 
men. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
