Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., April 29, 2003
Jerry Allen Lemon, 52, of 10479 Buchanan Highway, Temple passed away Monday, 
April 21, 2003. He was born May 26, 1950, in Paulding County. He retired as 
Inspector from General Motors following 30 years of service. He was a member of 
Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Denise Fincher Lemon 
of Temple; son, Chris Lemon of Temple; sisters, Bobbie Thomas of Rockmart, 
Annette Gamel of Concord, NC, and Carolyn Hutcheson of Rockmart. Funeral 
services were held Wednesday, April 23, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the 
Freeman Harris Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Paris and Dr. Tony Weaver 
officiating. Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Wade Gamel, Derrick Gamel, Barry Thomas, Edward Fincher, Randy Fincher, and 
Eddie Fincher. Honorary pallbearers were Josh Harris, Christopher Boze, Jeremy 
O’Neal, Gary Foster, and Aaron Courson, all members of Paulding County Jr. 
R.O.T.C. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
