Lockridge, 90, of 225 Philpot St., Cedartown, passed away Friday, April 25, 2003. She was born Sept. 26, 1912 in Cave Spring and retired from the Harpst Home of Cedartown after 25 years of service. She was a member of Mountain Home Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleo “Buck” Lockridge, and her parents, Vince G. Smith and Annie Baxter Smith; 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include 4 sisters-in-law; 1 brother-in-law; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 28 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Anthony Trawick officiating. Interment followed in Jackson Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Owens, Homer Dempsey, James Edge, Ronald Smith, E. L. Smith, and Bobby Smith. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
