Stephens stephens2247@bellsouth.net October 17, 2006, 11:16 am Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, February 10, 2004 Blanche Holland Lott, 85, of 207 Marshall St., Cedartown, passed away Sunday, Feb. 1, 2004. She was born Aug. 10, 1918 in Bartow County. Mrs. Lott was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cedartown, taught Sunday School for over 50 years, was a charter member of the Noweta Garden Club and was a charter member of the Polk County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lott; daughter, Jackie Lott McElwee; parents, Seward and Mollie Wilkerson Holland; brothers, J.S. Holland Jr. and Charles W. Holland. Surviving are: daughter, Nancy Sorrells; son, Wayne H. Lott, six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church with the Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. Pallbearers were: Bobby dale McElwee, Scotty McElwee, Joey Sorrells, Bob Hooper, Jeremy Hooper and Luke Hooper. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the First Baptist Church or a charity of your choice. The Gammage Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
