The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, November 18, 2003
Mary Ella Garrison McDonald, 84, of 742 Zuker Rd., Rockmart, passed away Nov. 
11, 2003. Mrs. McDonald was born in Bartow County. She was a lifelong resident 
of Polk County, and attended the Live Oak Baptist Church. She retired in 1996 
after working approximately 22 years as a food service worker. She was preceded 
in death by her son, William Patrick McDonald. Survivors include: son, Larry 
McDonald of Rockmart: brother, James Garrison of Aragon; and sister, Ruth 
Herring of Rockmart. Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m. in 
the Chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Hoyt Lewis 
officiating. Interment followed in the Live Oak Cemetery. Freeman Harris 
Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown Standard,
