Donald Eugene McDurmon, 71, of 174 Abner Dr., Cedartown, passed away Saturday, 
Sept. 6, 2003. He was born Nov. 9, 1931 in Polk County. He was a retired Mst. 
Sgt. from the U.S. Air Force and also retired from Skinner Furniture. He was 
preceded in death by his parents, Sylvester and Mary Shepard McDurmon; sisters, 
Emily Baldwin and Margie Garrison; and a brother, Harold McDurmon. Survivors 
include wife, Patricia Elizabeth McDurmon; daughter, Kathy McDurmon Johnson; 
son, Mark McDurmon; brothers, J.D. McDurmon and Roy McDurmon; five 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass was said Tuesday, Sept. 
9, 2003 at 11 a.m. from the St. Bernadette Catholic Church with Father Rafael 
Castano officiating. Interment followed in Northview Cemetery with full 
military rites conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland Post 86. Gammage Funeral
