The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, June 18, 2003
Max Terry McGee, 40, of Cave Spring passed away Sunday, June 15, 2003. He was 
born in Mobile County, Ala. on Feb. 22, 1963. He was employed with the Public 
Works Department of Floyd County. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.B. 
and Lucille Payton McGee. Survivors include his wife, Angela Summerford McGee 
of Cave Spring; sisters, Dody Sanders of Talladega, Ala., LaDonna Shuemake of 
Felton, and Joyce Minshew of Rome; brothers, Keith Boyd McGee of Felton and 
Johnny Ray Truitt of Cedartown; and a number of other relatives. Funeral 
services were conducted Tuesday, June 17 at 3 p.m. from Hutcheson’s Memorial 
Chapel with Danny Hutcheson officiating. Music was rendered by Benny Gray. 
Interment followed in the Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were 
Randall Shuemake, Chad Shuemake, David Cheatwood, Billy Welchel, Bill Welchel 
and Jerry Johnson. Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel of Buchanan was in charge of the
