Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, September 18, 2003
Larry Wayne Milligan, 60, of 611 Garden Ln., Cedartown, passed away Monday, 
Sept. 15, 2003. He was born July 1, 1943 in Polk County, son of the late Edward 
Russell “Buck” and Louise Edge Milligan. A sister, Dianne Villegas, also 
precedes in death. Survivors include wife, Shirley Land Milligan; children, 
Shanon Carter, Jolie Smith, and Scotty Milligan; sister, Martha Shaw; brother, 
Sammy Milligan; and four grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted 
Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with 
Rev. Billy Frasier and Rev. Moses Wilson officiating. Interment followed in 
Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Butch Benefield, John Glen, Doug Clay, 
Dr. Jerry Weaver, Reece Barrett, Glafus Bowling, Bob Peppers, and Marion 
Greenwood. Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The
