The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, June 04, 2003
Christine McCurry Mixon, 83, of 131 Brook Hollow Lake Trail, Cumming, passed 
away Tuesday, June 3, 2003. She was born July 15, 1919 in Polk County and was a 
member of First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, 
J.R. and Ida Caroline McCurry. Survivors include son, George Mixon of Sylvania; 
daughters, Lorraine Paulk of Cumming and Carolina Arnold of Duluth; five 
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services were conducted 
Thursday, June 5 at 2 p.m. in the Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Jeff Ross 
officiating. Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery. The Lester C. 
Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The Cedartown
