Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, March 25, 2003
Louise B. Nichelson, 80, of 255 Walker Avenue, Fayetteville, Ga., and a former 
resident of Rockmart, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003. Mrs. Nichelson was born 
June 27, 1922 in Floyd County. She was the daughter of the late Irvin and Randy 
Hovers Brock. She spent the greater part of her life in Polk County and was a 
retired homemaker and a member of the Hicksville Baptist Church. Her husband, 
Homer Nichelson, preceded Mrs. Nichelson in death. Mrs. Nicholson is survived 
by five daughters: Marie Couey of Rome, Sybil Smith of Fayetteville, Bobbie 
Wolfe of Hampton, Edna Wadsworth of Mississippi and Lillie Holland of Kansas; a 
son, Larry Nichelson of Centre, Ala. Seven grandchildren, 20 great-
grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services 
were held at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2003 in the chapel of the Freeman 
Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Lankford and the Rev. Charles Smith 
officiating. Interment followed in the Aragon Cemetery. Grandsons served as 
pallbearers. Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. (The
