The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, November 04, 2003
Gladys Morgan Norris, 93, passed away Monday, Oct. 27. Mrs. Norris was born in 
Carroll County. She was an elementary school teacher for 32 years. She was an 
active member of the First United Methodist Church in Cedartown and the 
Cedartown Garden Club. She was preceded in death by husband, James Mann Norris; 
sisters, Grace M. Wooly, Ruby M. Gustafson and Mary Nell Conger; and brothers, 
Thomas Morgan and Joseph Morgan. Survivors include: son, James Morgan Norris; 
and granddaughters Heather L. Higdon, Rebecca N. Norris and Sarah K. Norris. 
Funeral services were held at Carrollton First United Methodist Church on 
Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Dean Milford and Rev. William Holt 
officiating. Almon Funeral Home of Carrollton was in charge of the
