The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, April 15, 2003
Glays Odell, of Chickopee, passed away Friday, April 5, 2003. She was born in 
Banks County to the late Frank and Polonia Fleming. She was also a former 
employee of Chickopee Manufacturing, a homemaker, and a member of the Chickopee 
Baptist Church and the Dorcus Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by 
her husband, B. F. Odell. Survivors include: daughters, Barbara Atha, Wilma 
Bryan, Jackie Smallwood, and Patsy Griffith; sisters, Muriel Dale, Chicopee and 
Louise Workman; brothers, John and J. L. Fleming; 10 grandchildren, and 19 
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 7 at the 
Little-Davenport Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Memorial Park 
Cemetery. Little-Davenport Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. This 
announcement was made locally by Freeman Harris Funeral Home. (The Cedartown
