Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, September 30, 2003
Douglas M. Odell, 61, 250 Houseal St., passed away Sept. 15. He was born Feb. 
14, 1942 in Anniston, Ala. He was preceded in death by his son, Calvin Odell. 
Survivors include: wife, Phyllis Odell; daughters Beverly Reed, Melody Jones, 
Trina Cheeks, Marie Salmon, Carol Covington and Janice Greene, Cindy Odell; 
sons David Odell, Kenneth Odell and Barry Odell; sisters Audrey McCauley, Liz 
Hall and Sara Aldredge; brother, Buddy Odell; and parents, Herbert and 
Catherine Brown Odell. Memorial services were held Tuesday, Sept. 16, at 11 
a.m. in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Martin 
officiating. The Gammage Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.(The
