W. Booz passed away Friday afternoon at a sanitorium in Rome, where he had been a couple of weeks for treatment, and his remains were brought here Saturday morning for interment in Greenwood Cemetery, where brief funeral services were conducted by Revs. J. T. Murrish and J. E. Jones. The deceased was fifty-seven years of age, and was formerly a successful hotel man, but has been in very bad health for a number of years. On March 22d, 1888, he was united in marriage with Miss Mary Roberts of Tampa, Fla., who with one son, Waller M. Booz, survives him. He is also survived by a venerable mother, Mrs. M. A. Booz, three sisters and four brothers -- Misses Kate and Elizabeth and Mr. W. E. Booz of Cedartown, Mrs. A. Willis Evans of Sandersville, Messrs. Henry Booz of Parkman, Wyo., B. T.
