H. Booz, a pioneer resident of Cedartown, after a long and useful life, died Sunday night at his home there. He was about 70 years of age, and had been ill for three months. As proprietor of the Booz House, he was pleasantly known to the traveling public throughout North Georgia. Major Booz was well- known in Rome, where he frequently visited his son, T. H. Booz, Jr., county engineer. Mr. Booz went down to Cedartown last night to attend the funeral which takes place here today.
