Benjamin Johnson
Cedartown-Benjamin Franklin Johnson, 51, Cedartown Rte. 3, died Thursday in a 
Cedartown hospital following an extended illness.
   Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 8, 1922, in Cedartown and had lived there all his 
llife. A veteran of World War II, he was a member of the First Presbyterian 
Church and Brewster Cleveland American Legion Post 86.
   Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Barbara Kirk, Cedartown; one 
son, Phillip Johnson, Cedartown; two brothers, Glen Johnson, East Point, and 
Bruce Johnson, Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Mrs. Jeff McLarty, Cedartown.
   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Lester C. 
Litesey Funeral Home. The Rev. Archie Gardner officiated. Interment was in 
North View Cemetery.
