Mr. Crumpton was born June 21, 1915 in Paulding County. He was a retired owner of Cedartown Nursing Home and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sara Crumpton, and parents, Ester Daniel and Homer Parks Crumpton. Surviving are: wife, Jo Ann Crumpton of Cedartown; daughter Sharon Crumpton Robinson of Americus; stepdaughter Tammy Susan Casey of Arizona; four stepsons, Marvin Tanner of Newnan, Ricky Adams, Perry Adams and Will Adams, all of Cedartown; two sisters, Annie Lou Womack of Buchanan and Vinnie Pierce of Monroe; and 13 grandchildren. Graveside services were held Sunday, Oct. 12, at 2 P.M., at the Northview Cemetery, with Rev. Hobart Pierce officiating. The Gammage Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements.
