Hindman, 86, of 1273 Booger Hollow Rd., Cedartown passed away Friday, Sept. 19, 2003. He was born Feb. 14, 1917 in Haralson County and was a member of the Dugdown Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Battie and Mollie Connell Hindman, and sisters Elsie Reddish and Armanda Timms. Survivors include brothers Bennie Hindman of Cedartown, Edward Hindman of Canton and Dewey Hindman of Ala.; sister, Viola Reddish of Cedartown; and a number of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Sept. 21 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. Rev. John Vines, Rev. Stevie Waddel, Rev. R.B. Hulsey and Rev. Jason Stringer officiated. Interment followed in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery in Felton. Pallbearers were Duane Hindman, Jody Hindman, Dennis Hindman, Eddie Hindman, Ray Hindman, Cecil Reddish, David Hindman and Gene Hindman. Honorary pallbearers were Corey Hindman, Jeremy Hindman, Craig Blalock, Doug Harrell, Robert “Buck” Robertson, Jackie Sims, Wayne Reddish and deacons of Dugdown Baptist Church. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
