Miss Shelly Lea Hudgins, 29, 1048 Judkin Mill Road, Cedar-town, died January 
18, 2004. Miss Hudgins was born on June 23, 1974 in Rome, GA a daughter of 
Tommy Lewis Hudgins Sr. and Vickie Reece Hudgins. She had lived all of her life 
in Cedartown where she was a 1993 graduate of Cedartown High School. She was a 
member of Crossroads Baptist Church, Aragon. Surviving are parents, Tommy and 
Vickie Hudgins, Cedartown; brother, Lewis Hudgins, Aragon; two nephews; number 
of aunts and uncles. The funeral was conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 
2004 in the Crossroads Baptist Church with Rev. Gwendall Owens and Rev. Kenneth 
Armstrong officiating. Interment was held in Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers 
were Joe Steed, Cory Steed, Bryan Reece, Chuck Reece, Burlin Mabry and Keith 
Bullard. Brandon Bullard served as honorary pallbearer. The Alvis Miller & Son 
Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. (The Rockmart Journal, Rockmart, GA)
