George Robert Hooper, Sr., 73, of 1660 Antioch Rd., Cedartown, passed away 
Thursday, March 20, 2003. He was born April 17, 1929 in Polk County. He was 
preceded in death by: parents, William C. and Evie Johnson Hooper; wife, 
Lillian Almira Hooper; sister, Annie Lou Hooper Nix; brothers, W.C. Hooper, 
Junior Hooper, Jasper Hooper, and Albert Hooper. Survivors include: son, Bob 
Hooper; daughter, Paulette Queen; brothers, J.W. Hooper, Charles Hooper, Doyce 
Hooper, and David Hooper; sisters, Belle McFall and Ellen Dempsey of Cedartown 
and Ruby Camp of Rockmart; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. 
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of 
the Litesey Funeral Home with Dr. Dewayne New and Rev. Tommy McGuire 
officiating. Interment followed in Northview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Adam 
Willingham, Shay Stephens, T.J. Couey, Chris Banks, Steve Melton, Jeremy 
Hooper, Luke Hooper, and Eddie Hooper. Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in
