Delia Wood Atkins, 85, of 176 Runyon Loop Rd, Cedartown, passed away Saturday, 
Aug. 23, 2003.  She was born Aug. 29, 1917 in Polk County and was a member of 
Youngs Grove Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack 
and Missouri Turkett Wood, and her husband, David Allen Atkins.   Survivors 
include a son, Jerry Atkins of Buchanan; daughter, Judy Allen of Cedartown; six 
grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.  Funeral services were conducted 
Monday, Aug. 25, at 2 p.m. at Youngs Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Wood 
and Rev. Wayne Tant officiating.  Interment followed in the Youngs Grove 
cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Atkins, Jeff Atkins, Wayne Wood, Jerry 
Timms, Russ Atkins, and Freddie Hulsey.  Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in
