John Richard Beall, 63, 3894 48th Ave. South, St. Petersburg, Fla., formerly of 
Rockmart, passed away Wednesday, July 16, in St. Petersburg. He was born 
November 21, 1939 in Rome. Beall received his degree in Pharmacy from the 
University of Georgia, was CEO of the JONKO Corp. and was a member of Maximo 
United Presbyterian Church. Beall was preceded in death by his mother, Helen 
Alexander Beall and his father, Hugh Beall. He is survived by his wife, Sandra 
Beall, St. Petersburg, Fla.; son, Jon Beall of Macon; daughter, Paige Gedeon of 
Cummings; brother, Barry Beall of Hayesville, N.C.; and five grandchildren. 
Services were held Sunday, July 20, in the chapel of Freeman Harris Funeral 
Home with Rev. Dan McMillan officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill 
Cemetery. The family request that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to 
the Lymphoma Association. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of the
