She was born Dec. 21, 1915 in Polk County and was one of the oldest members of East View Baptist Church. She was a member of the W.M.U. and the Andrews Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mark and Rachel Ledford Cox; husband, Charlie T. Bentley; and a number of brothers and sisters. Survivors include a son, John Thomas Bentley of Rockmart; daughters, Linda Holbrooks of Cedartown and Nancy Rich of Douglasville; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Monday, March 24 at 2 p.m. at East View Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Rev. Gene Beck officiating. Interment followed in Northside Cemetery. Pallbearers were John Green, Elmo Williams, Jeff Dollar, Don Dollar, Morgan Tracy, Jimmy Tracy, Phil Tracy and Kenneth Tracy. The Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
