Ronald Eugene Banks, Sr., 63, of 484 Sixth St., Cedartown passed away Monday, 
Feb. 23, 2004. He was born April 18, 1940 in Shelby, Mich. And was a member of 
First Baptist Church. He was retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Ruth Roland Banks. 
Survivors include his wife, Jean Haines Banks of Cedartown; sons, Ronald Banks, 
Jr., Mike Banks, and Chris Banks, all of Cedartown; and two grandchildren. 
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, February 26 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel 
of the Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home. Rev. Wayne Benefield officiated. The 
Lester C. Litesey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. (The
