Thelma Elizabeth Bedford, 78, 1986 Lee’s Chapel Rd., Cedartown, died February 
24, 2004. Mrs. Bedford was born July 26, 1925 in Alabama. Surviving are 
husband, Clyde Bedford; daughters, Barbara Abrams; stepdaughter, Dale McAdams; 
stepson, Nickey Bedford; brother, Norris Hinton; eight grandchildren; nine 
great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. The funeral service was 
conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2004 from Wimberly Hill Baptist 
Church with Rev. Owen “Bud” Davis Jr. and Rev. Moses Wilson officiating. 
Interment was held in Polk Memory Gardens. Pallbearers were Tommy Hinton, Terry 
Hinton, Danny Drake, Chuck Bedford, Kenneth McAdams and Greg Guthrie. Gammage 
Funeral Home, Cedartown, had charge of arrangements. (The Rockmart Journal,
