Stephens wend@bellsouth.net April 17, 2004, 12:29 pm (Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA., March 18, 2003) Elizabeth Erin Black, 19, of DeArmanville, AL, and formerly of Brookhaven, MS, passed away Tuesday, Mar. 4, 2003 at Children’s Hospital in Birmingham. She was a native and life-long resident of Calhoun County and was a student at Walter Wellborn TMR Unit. She was a member of DeArmanville United Methodist Church. Survivors include her parents, Beth Black of DeArmanville and James Wesley Black of Cedartown; brothers, Jim and Tyler Black, both of DeArmanville; grandparents, Doyle and Dot Hurst of DeArmanville, Yvonne Alt of Anniston and Jim and Maryann Black of Dadeville, AL; and great-grandfather, Clyde A. Black of Atlanta. Memorial donations may be made to Walter Wellborn TMR Unit C/O Jackie Kelley, 135 Pinson Rd., Anniston, AL 36201. Funeral services were conducted Friday, March 7 at 3 p.m. at the DeArmanville United Methodist Church. Interment followed in the DeArmanville United Methodist Church Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Walter Wellborn TMR Unit. The Gray Brown-Service Mortuary and Crematory was in charge of the arrangements.
