Samuel David Bowling, 68, of 120 Dogwood Dr., Cartersville, passed away Friday, 
Oct. 10, 2003. He was born Nov. 21, 1934 in McKees Rock, Penn., son of the late 
Eugene and Margurita Doies Bowling. He was last employed by Shaw Industries and 
was a member of the Carl Boyd Post 42 of the American Legion. He was a Vietnam 
veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by a son, David 
Bowling; daughters, Christy and Vickie Crowe and Stephanie Folsom; brothers, 
Eugene and Norman Bowling; sister, Christine Fornash; 11 grandchildren, and two 
great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 13, 2003 at 
11 a.m. from the chapel of the Parnick Jennings Funeral Home. Interment 
followed in Sunset Memory Gardens. Peter Jennings Funeral Home and Cremation 
Services of Cartersville was in charge of the arrangements. (Cedartown
