Herman L. "Freck" Brumbelow, 82, passed away Friday, Nov. 28, 1997. Mr. 
Brumbelow was born Dec. 28, 1914 in Aragon. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army 
Air Corps having served during World War II, a member of Antioch Baptist 
Church, and a retired Rockmart Postal Service Employee. He was preceded in 
death by a son, David Brumbelow. Surviving are: wife, Edna Jackson Brumbelow of 
Rockmart; two sons, Jack Brumbelow of Dallas, Texas, and Mitchell Brumbelow of 
Rockmart; daughter, Leann Brumbelow Kling of Woodstock; brother, J. K. 
Brumbelow of Smyrna; and two grandsons. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 
1, at 2 p.m., in the Aragon Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronnie Puckett 
officiating. Interment followed in Aragon Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers 
were: Lee Brumbelow, Robert Kelly Brumbelow, Mike Rayburn, Jamie Elliot, Donald 
Brumbelow, and Steven Ely. The Freeman Harris Funeral Home had charge of the 
arrangements
