(Cedartown Standard, Thursday, February 14, 1918) 
Mrs. Paul Grimes, passed away Tuesday after a prolonged illness. The deceased 
was an excellent young woman, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Brooks. She 
leaves a husband and a little daughter to mourn her loss. Funeral services were 
conducted yesterday, afternoon by Rev. T. W. M. Brown. (Cedartown Standard, 
Thursday, February 14, 1918)
