Stephens wend@bellsouth.net April 30, 2004, 2:22 pm (Cedartown Standard, Thursday, March 28, 1918) Mrs. Jas. Grimes, fell dead Tuesday morning at her home a couple of miles east of town. She had gone out to feed the chickens, and when she had been gone longer than expected her daughter went to call her, and found her lifeless body. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss five children—Mrs. Richard Brock, Miss Emma T., Messrs, Paul, Glover and Blance Grimes. She was a devoted wife and mother, and a faithful member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted yesterday at Friendship by Rev. J. A. Edge, assisted by Revs. W. J. Lovvorn and R. W.
