Stephens wend@bellsouth.net April 30, 2004, 2:30 pm The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, Ga, November 1997 Pluma Jane Robinson, 89, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 1997 at her residence. Mrs. Robinson was born Feb. 7, 1908 in Borden Springs, Ala.. She was a member of the Gethsamene Baptist Church, a homemaker, and correspondent for the Rockmart Journal. For many years, she had taught Sunday School in both Bellview and Seney Baptist churches of Rockmart. She was preceded in death by a son, Vergil Lee Robinson. Surviving are: husband, George Robinson of Rockmart; daughter, Evelyn Cook of Rockmart; two sons, Donald Robinson of Duluth and Gerald Robinson of Rockmart; five sisters, Edna Suddeth of Powder Springs, Ola Haynie, Lois Duke, Inez Walker, and Ruby Carter, all of Rockmart.; two brothers, James W. "Bunk" Wheeler of Rockmart and G. W. Wheeler of Union City. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m., in the Bellview Baptist Church, with Rev. Floyd Hufstetler, Rev. Clifford Chandler, and Rev. Hugh Burdett officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were; (grandsons) Ricky Cook, Anthony Robinson, Craig Robinson, Derick Robinson, Tim Ingle and Corey Ingle.
