Mrs. J. J. Jenkins, The death angel visited the home of Mr. J. J. Jenkins and 
took his loving wife Dec. 19th. She was laid to rest, at the Wright graveyard. 
She leaves a husband and two children to mourn her loss, and was a faithful 
Christian, a loving wife and devoted mother. Weep not, dear husband, she is not 
dead but asleep in Jesus. (Cedartown Standard, Thursday, December 19, 1918)
