The Cedartown Standard, Cedartown, GA, October 1997
Idora Johnson Dorsey, 90, of Rome, formerly of Cedartown passed away Sunday, 
Oct. 19, 1997. Mrs. Dorsey was born April 25, 1907 in Newton County. She was a 
retired beautician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Floyd 
Dorsey. A nephew, who is also a foster son, Jack George of Cedartown survives. 
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m., from Greenwood 
Cemetery, with Rev. Steve Arnold officiating. The Gammage Funeral Home had 
charge of arrangements.
