Shaw, who died Sunday, the 9th and Little Virginia Baker, aged 3 years, who departed this life Tuesday, the 11th. Both families have our heartfelt sympathy. (Cedartown Standard, Thursday, June 20, 1918) Mrs. M. A. Shaw, On Sunday, June 9th, death came and took from us Mrs. M. A. Shaw, aged 78 years. "Grandma" had been sick five weeks. When she first got sick, she was carried to the home of her son.
